Some hints and tips for your Android 11 TV with DVD Player

This article is only for TV models that use Android 11 and have a DVD player.

Your remote control has 2 modes, Infrared (IR)  and Bluetooth. You can only have one mode active at a time.

To switch between the modes please do the following:

To turn on Bluetooth mode:

This mode is best used when activating the GOOGLE ASSISTANT and if you would like to use VOICE CONTROL

1. Press HOME on your remote control,
2. Go to SETTINGS in the top right corner of the screen,
3. Scroll down to REMOTE AND ACCESSORIES,
4. On the remote control press and hold the OK button and the VOL + button for 3 seconds to put it in pairing mode,
5. Select the remote control from the list and pair it.

To turn on IR mode:

This mode is best suited for use with the DVD Input

1. Press HOME on your remote control,
2. Go to SETTINGS in the top right corner of the screen,
3. Scroll down to REMOTE AND ACCESSORIES,
4. Select the remote control from the list and unpair it.
5. Press the SOURCE button on the remote control and select DVD.

Please be aware that voice control of the Smart TV is disabled when you do this.
