When inserting DVDs, you’ll need to make sure the TV is in DVD mode.
Double-check that the disc is a DVD and not a Blu-ray disc instead.
Check that the label side of the DVD is facing towards the back of the TV, with the shiny side of the DVD facing forwards towards the screen.
