If you're experiencing Wi-Fi connectivity issues with your Englaon TV, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:
- Check Wi-Fi signal strength: Make sure your Englaon TV is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Poor signal strength can cause connection problems. If possible, move the router closer to your TV or vice versa.
- Restart your devices: Power off your Englaon TV and Wi-Fi router. Wait for a few seconds and then turn them back on. This simple step can often resolve temporary connectivity issues.
- Verify Wi-Fi network settings: Ensure that your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password are correct. Double-check the network details on your Englaon TV and ensure that you're connecting to the correct network.
- Forget and reconnect to the Wi-Fi network: On your Englaon TV, go to "Settings" and navigate to the "Network & Internet" section. Select "Wi-Fi" and find your network in the list. Choose the network and select "Forget." Then, reselect your network to reconnect, and enter your password again when prompted.
- Try using the 2.4GHz band for your Wifi, this is set in your Wifi settings on your Device. Please note if you are using your Hotspot, from your iPhone or Apple device, it may be called Maximise Compatibility.
- Move closer to the router: If your Englaon TV is far from the router, try moving it closer temporarily to see if the Wi-Fi connection improves. This can help determine if the distance is causing the weak signal. There also could be obstructions, that can cause interference and weaken your signal.
- Restart your router: Unplug your Wi-Fi router from the power source, wait for about 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. Give the router a few minutes to restart, and then check if your Englaon TV can connect to Wi-Fi.
- Check for interference: Other electronic devices, such as cordless phones or microwave ovens, can interfere with Wi-Fi signals. Move such devices away from your router or Englaon TV to minimize interference.
- Reset network settings: As a last resort, you can factory reset your Englaon TV to clear any network-related settings. However, note that this will erase all personalized settings and data on your TV.
